I have a 9 inch F-ord rear end- is this really a good rear end that will handle some juice on the back of my 51 3100 with a hot 327 and camaro front clip??

I have heard several dudes say how they are "sooo great" can anyone back up this F-ord rear-end story???????

sswap-just pick up ANY HotRod, Street Rod, Truck or Off-Road magazine. You will find that almost everybody uses the 9 inch. Drag racers have been using 'em for years. They are probably THE most durable diff available to mankind-will take all the abuse you can pile on 'em and the aftermarket parts support is phenominal.

Will one handle your 327? You betcha!! grin

Wannabe smile

Wow, good to hear!! I guess I'll get on it- get the thing cleaned up and ready to go. Now time to find a decent Transmission- another tough decission. 700r4- for a daily driver- but what kind of guts?? I guess stock may do?
