We have Fenton headers on both 1954 engines and dual exhaust. How do you route the exhaust so it won't interfere with the spare tire carrier? I have to retrofit both vehicles--Thanks Bill

I think you'd have to route the right side exhaust to directly below or very close to the frame rail (the standard one on the driver's side is just inboard of the frame rail and a few inches below it.
The spare carrier vertical bolts are a bit inboard of the frame. There have been diagrams posted here of the '51 and later spare carrier that would help you visualize how the exhausts would have to run.
