on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 56 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 56 | So I learnt something new today.... The manifolds on the 216 and 235 are slightly different. 216 seems to have a straight exhaust flange while the 235 is curved at like 25d...
This may be a long shot but anyone have a 216 exhaust manifold (with the straight not curved outlet) that they may be willing to part with? I bought a NOS intake and exhaust set tagged for the 216/235 not realizing their is a difference. So either I replace the exhaust head pipe or I replace the manifold. My original manifold has the plate seized up pretty bad. I could use it if I have to, but maybe someone has a fully functioning original exhaust? Would love to eventually get it actually on the road this year.
Thanks.

Sadly it wont be on the road this summer now... further inspection and my tires are all starting to crack. Seems to be one thing after another with this old truck. I will be going through that area in October with the family so if you still have one kicking around I will stop by then.

I believe I also had most of the original exhaust as well. So it could have been a combo exhaust manifold for other cars but I have the angle as well. | | |
