For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2019 Posts: 53 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2019 Posts: 53 | Going thru my 3 speed transmission from my 44 and wondering what is acceptable play in the front bearing and the clutch gear rollers? Seems like there is unacceptable up and down play between the 2 areas when you pivot the input shaft but doesn’t seem like it could be solid even with new bearings. I’m sure I will replace them but looking for any input on what is acceptable.
