Anybody have any ideas on getting the passenger door on my '49 Chevrolet unlocked? It won't unlock with the interior door handle or with the key. Thanks for any help you can give me

Does you door lock by pushing the door handle forward (47-48) or pulling the door handle rearward (1949 and onwards).

Depends on if the handle points up or down. Mine points up.
