Anyone happen to know the length on the pushrod cover bolts? I believe they are 1/4-20 thread, but not sure if the length is 3/8, or 1/2.
Thanks!

For a 216/235/261 Chevrolet engine: Most likely you will need a 1/4 x 20 stove bolt screw? StoveboltFor some people, any 1/4 x 20 bolt, with any style lock washer will do | | | | Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 4,209 Moderator, Electrical Bay | Moderator, Electrical Bay Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 4,209 | Hi Sergio, I used 3/8 inch length and a flat washer (about 3/4" diameter as I recall). Unless you seal it very well, this cover will leak at the lower rear and mimic a rear main seal leak. Anytime I have to remove one, I straighten the area around the bolt holes really well. The flat washer keeps the bolt head from deforming the cover. Good luck.
