The buckets for the headlights on my 1937 Chevrolet SD have 3 pin bayonet connectors to the truck's wiring harness, see attached photos. I can't find these connectors shown in the parts book, and I haven't seen them online at the old Chevy parts places. Has anyone found a source for these connectors?

I have not been able to find those connectors on my '37 project. On the advice of someone whose judgement I trust I gave up. He said those connectors are a source of problems in that poor dirty connectors leads to dim lights. He recommended hard wiring the headlight buckets, leaving plenty of wire inside the buckets, so that if removal of the buckets is necessary some day there will be enough length of wire to reconnect. That is what I ended up doing.

Thanks for the reply, I figured that's what I'd have to do unless a source for them turned up. It seems odd that the parts book doesn't show them, and I don't have any idea if they were used on any other year.

Yes, both sides are in similar condition of all the insulation crumbling to dust, and one of the contacts pulled out of the insulating block in the connector. The wiring harness has been removed now, as most of it is also suffering from crumbling insulation.

Jim, here are the plugs that I can get, I have a friend who deals in antique headlghts and he has lots of NOS parts. He is gone until next week so I will find out how much he would for them.
