The 327 I'm pulling out has a casting number of 3858180. Would also like to know the year on that. Now another question, on the new 350, on the passenger side between and slightly below the aft 2 exhaust ports is a sensor. What is that for? My 327 doesn't have it.

It probably is for a temp. gauge or light. It might be for a polution control device. The knock sensor if used goes down farther on the side of the block.

I did the same for the heads GM 14014416 and the first couple of sites from google gave me everything I needed | | |
