Regarding a 1958 Chevrolet Apache 3100 pickup, I would really appreciate anyone that can post a picture of an original spare tire hanger, under the bed, that shows all the parts and what they attach to on the bottom of the truck. Might take several pictures.

Also, if anyone has a diagram from a Chevrolet assembly manual, that would also be helpful.

Got my fingers crossed you guys can come through.

That would be great! You never know. Look forward to seeing some pics. Would like to see multiple pics that show all the pieces of the hanger and where they attach to the truck.

Would anyone else be willing to take some pictures of their spare tire hanger and post them?

These are original parts before installation on my '58 Chevy 32 several years ago, which were salvaged from a '57. I think the strap swings open from opposite sides whether it's a long bed or a short bed.

Success. The restoration shop figured it out and the spare tire is now installed as it should be. Thanks for those that provided me with information.
