Hello! On a 1955 Chevy Suburban front fender, which way is right to mount the side emblem; Chevrolet 3100 first or 3100 Chevrolet first, and what is the emblem supposed to look like - A rocket or....??

Yes, but 50 could be on right, and 50 could be on wrong, right? I would like to have a very lengthy defineing discussion on what the pros think about the correct way to mount the side emblem on the front fenders of a 55 Chevy 3100 Suburban...? 😇😄😛😀

Now I’m totally confused (and that’s pretty normal) have you scrapped the truck or are you just messing with us? If you have scrapped it why do you care about trim placement? So your saying you’ve looked at all the Gallery photos of 55.2 half ton trucks and half of the owners have the hardware on backwards? I just can’t see a “lengthy “ discussion on which way is right or wrong but I’ve been wrong before. Go for it!

I was being "a little" sarcastic when I generalized about it being 50/50 if the emblems are on right or wrong...Sorry - it's my attempt at humor.

But I would like to know honestly about which way the emblems do go on. I have seen them on BOTH ways.

Thanks Wave, but I am asking about the 1955 - not 57. They each have their differences. On the 57 of your cover, the emblem looks like a silver rocket flying through the air with the red part being the rocket's flame.

I don't know what the 55 emblems are supposed to look like - or even which way it goes on the fender..? I have seen them mounted different ways...?
