Hi- Im back again after buying a ‘59 GMC pickup...
Hey-
Were front ‘Bumper Bullets’ standard on any year in
the 56-59 GMC Trucks??
It seems most 57 and 56 GMCs had bullets but fewer
in 58 and not too many at all in ‘59.
Tnx
Ron in upstate NY...

Hy ronunsy, my parts books indicate "guard, front bumper" were not installed on 1959 model year trucks, hope that helps.

Bumper bullets or dagmars were standard on 55.2-58. Years 55 and 56 they were the same part, 57 and 58 both are year specific. If you find a pair, you best hold on to them because finding others in decent shape is darn near impossible. Not too sure on the '59 trucks. You might be in luck with not having to go looking for a pair.

I recollect that Rick at Classic Truck Ranch said on one of his videos that some 1959s had bullets while they used up the stock left over from 1958.. no way to know for sure.
