BTW, what a really nice truck and nice work. Short bed big window fleet is the coupe de grass Holley grail. Even a hybrid is money. What SBC is that?

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment. The SBC is a doner from a 1979 Corvette with a Turbo 350 trans. Yes I do have a few $$ into it. This is my 5th build in 15 years. Up next is a 54 Panel. I also have a

What is the motor mount welded to? Looks like welded to the axle.

The Motor mounts and the trans mount are the tubular style that where purchased from Classic Parts. Part number

The picture made it look like welded to axle. My eyes are not great. I use those universal cross members also. I like them.
9 GM trucks 55-66 and 8 "other brands" since 2002. Not many were completely restored/restomod like yours. Just one restomod and one original.

Sounds like you keep yourself busy. This is my first restomod everything else is all original. That’s why I’m having trouble thinking outside the box. You all have been a life saver. I appreciate the help. Really I do.
