Looking to haul a 1960 C60 with 175" WB & 16 ft bed (appears to have a steel deck from photos I got). Thanks, BC

I'm not sure how stout the 16' flatbed is but Im guessing its at least another 1500lbs bringing you to 6700lbs. It all depends on the flatbed, Im guessing the curb weight on the cab and chassis didnt change too much from 59 to 60(something)

Not seeing any picture of your truck you'll need to figure out the bed weight. Does it have stake sides (all wood or wood and steel and how tall)? Does it have a hoist? Does it have extra steel for a tow hitch? Since it's GVW is 14,000 I'll throw a dart and guess it wouldn't weight much more the 7500-8000 pounds. It is a dump bed and built pretty beefy. I weigh 9000 empty rolling over the scales. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 128 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 128 | For comparison, my '62 GMC 6500 with a 478 V-6 and a 16 Ft all Steel Flat Bed Dump and a GVW of 32,000 was listed on the side of the truck at 12,000. Don't mean to highjack a thread but you wouldn't happen to have a spare 478 laying around would you Bill?? Spartan
