I'm looking for some pictures and measurements of the front bumper brackets that bolt to the front of the frame of an advance design 4100 that allow the big bolt bumper to be bolted to the truck.

Any help would be appreciated.

And I have a post in the parts wanted section that I'm looking for a pair.

Hang tight - I can get you pictures and measurements but might have to wait till weekend. I've got a tractor expo to take my son to, so might not be able to get under the truck till Sunday.

Hey, those pictures are great. Thank you so much. Now I just hope I can find someone who is parting out a 4100

They can be from any 4000, or 6000 series 47-54 Chevrolet truck.

The bumper and braces yes.
The frame extensions I believe are 4100 only.

The 4100 frame is basically same as 3800 1 ton but with those frame extensions for the bigger truck bumper.

Extensions could be made from C channel and angle.

If you want to go that way I can get you more complete dimensions.

Sorry if this post is a duplicate, having some issues posting here.

Looks like an old post but I’m in the same boat. Converting 3800 to 4100. I would love a dimensioned drawing to go off of!

I’ve got a 1954 3800 I’m using a 54 6000 series can and front clip on.

I am planning on rotating my bumper soon (it is on upside down). When I do I can get the dimensions you need (or at least get you started....). I am limited on time and will most likely take a bunch of pics with a tape measure.....

If you are near southeast PA you are welcome to stop by and measure anytime.
