I am installing a newer style Dolphin programmable speedo. I have a 700R4 behind a LT1. I have a VSS pulse wire coming from the PCM.

The wiring harness plug that came with the speedo has green, white, black, red, and blue wires
The instructions for the Speedo says to connect the red wire to the switched power, green wire to the pulse generator from the VSS and the black wire to ground AND to the PULSE generator. Does this sound correct? They want the green wire and the black wire to be connected together and then to ground AND the Pulse generator.

I know some of you have installed this brand speedo, how did you connect the wire?

Are you not using the Dolphin pulse generator? It should have two wires. One goes to ground, the other to the speedo input - doesn't matter which wire goes where.

I do not have a Dolphin pulse generator. I have one pulse generator wire coming from the PCM that provides a 4K signal. I guess I will connect the green wire to the pulse generator wire and the black wire to ground.
