The device is a bit of a gimmick/novelty.

Showkey, mine is still sitting on a shelf in the basement. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) to get the cab completed and installed this summer. Then I can focus on the gauges.

Hi, Wondering if there is any new info or analysis of this gauge available? Anybody find a copy of the 64 page manual and read through it? Anybody have this manual avail for copying or for sale. I bought a Performeter but I guess I need the book or the 1953_54 magazine article that reviews the product to understand and use it...Anybody find this and can let us know what magazine specifics are? Thanks for any additional sharing?

I am away from home, but, I think I might have some sort of instruction sheet/sheet. I’ll try to remember to look for it when I get home on Sun/Mon.

The device is an accelerometer.
Here is general information on how it registers/works.

Supposedly, the less/lower/slower you accelerate, the better your gas mileage.
This gauge should be used in conjunction with engine vacuum fuel efficiency gauge.

I did buy a manual.
