The 216 had "dual" exhaust . It looks like someone cut or drilled a hole and welded an extra (second port) exhaust flange on the GM manifold. Was this common? Is it a waste on a 235? (Extra pipes/muffler ECT) I planned on using it on my 235 and originally thought it was " stock" until I removed the exhaust manifold and had a closer look. Thank you for any input.
1950 3100 truck // Jerry, there is a block off plate just inside where the heat riser is at. The plate has one small hole on the middle. So, this is usable for my 235 build? Thank you for your input.

If somebody just added a second outlet, it's eye candy and does little or nothing for the efficiency of the exhaust system. Jerry
