Hello everyone, new to really old trucks but have rebuilt Austin Minis and Volkswagen Beetles in the '80's. I recently stumbled across a gem of an old truck with all the "character" and patina along with a price too good to resist. I plan on rebuilding it as stock as possible and will try and maintain the patina. Behold my 1951 Chevrolet 3100 PU. grin

I'm fair with sheet metal work and have lots of time between customers. Not having any heirs makes it easier and I don't plan on leaving a healthy bank balance when I go. I am not planning on rebuilding it to be a front page model but to leave the looks as if it is an abandoned truck when parked in a field on the farm. As long as it runs, steers and stops reliably it will be mission accomplished.

I will be moving it this weekend and then will pull the cab and bed off the chassis for a good cleaning. Lots of pics to follow on my website.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
