When I bought my truck it did not have windshield wiper arms are blades on it. So I ordered a set for my truck and the arms are different which side does which arm go onto? unfortunately at the shop I bought the arms from somebody peeled the tags off of the packages so I'm not sure which side they should go to

It should be clear when you hold the arm in place with the blade on it.
One way the blades will lie parallel to the lower window opening,
the other way the blades would lie across the window opening
at a sharp angle.

Drtheo, you are not stupid. Stupid is forever and has no cure. This site is useful for enlightening the ignorant among us. We were all born ignorant, but most of as are able to learn. So now, thanks to Denny, you are no longer ignorant about wipers.
Over the years, Denny and many others have de-ignorantized me about many topics relating to these trucks.
Welcome to Stovebolt!

Feeling stupid has no correlation to being ignorant. I've felt stupid at least once a day for the last 24,000 days. Good luck with your wipers. And don't forget, the only stupid question went unasked.

DAD50, Is there a place where you can buy reproductions of all these publications you reference? Maybe as a set or a list?
