I can find the outside door skins in the various catalogs, but no mention of the inner skin, I want to open up the door and do some sound proofing and insulating, and the access is very limited. Mike Bourg

there are no inner parts made, just the outer/lower - a trick: note on the hinge side of the doors there's a couple 'embossed' depressed areas - cut out the biggest, easy to fab a replacement, and you can use screws to make it a removeable 'hatch', no one will ever notice

If so I done this repair and I like the panel. I don't car for the outter skin though, I ended up making my own. The outter skin seemed thin to me.

roughly that is what i was after, but not a door bottom, just the inside skin, and after looking at this real hard, I believe i will end up making as you have done, they just wont have the scalloped effect that the original has, but they will get covered with carpet anyway. thanks to all Mike Bourg
