I too am interested in this for my ‘62 C-10 350 Swap. Show Steve and I what you’ve done.

Several aftermarket suppliers sell a V-8 throttle linkage assembly for TF trucks. It should be adaptable to your series truck with some tweeking.

Martin,
The aftermarket catalogues I have only show the pedal and linkage rods for 60's trucks, not the assembly.

Does your original gas pedal have a ball and socket affair were the original linkage attaches? '53-'57 gas pedals will work with the Task Force linkage.

I'm running an aftermarket pedal setup that uses an OEM throttle cable for a 72 Camaro w/a 350 (21"). The pedal was installed by a previous owner so I'm unsure from whence it came or who made it but it works pretty good. I fit the cable after some trial and error. A 19" or 20" would fit better btw.
The pic isn't that good but should give you an idea. I can provide a better pic if needed.

Be prepared to do some modification of the linkage bracket of the Task Force linkage. It is made to fit the flat Task Force firewall, not the irregular contoured firewall of your '53. I believe that I just used stacks of washers and maybe bent one leg of the bracket on my '49.
