Some of the previous posts got me wondering.
I have done the swap in my 3/4 ton from the original 4.57 gear set to the 4.10 gear. I was thinking about building a box to seal up the old gear set to keep for, well, just to keep I guess. Boy, that will be a heavy box to move around
. I know the bigger truck gears, 5.11's, are more desirable to the rock crawler crowd and could be sold but I don't think that's so for the 4.57's.
So I would like to ask, what did you do with your gears from your truck? Keep them? Scrap them?
