I’m sure I’m just a dummy but I’m having trouble figuring out the latch part on the underside of the hood. Can someone show me a pic of under the front of their hood? My truck has the latch above the radiator but there is nothing attached under the hood that hooks into that latch. The hood was strapped down when I got it. Thanks

You failed to mention if your truck is a 1947 first series or 1947 second series.

If it is a 2nd series.... these are the parts that are missing from your hood.

Be for warned that the 1.5 & 2 ton conventional cab hood latch assembly is different from the 1/2 ton to 1 ton latch.
