I have cleaned up my bed sides really well but can not get to the rust inside of the stake pockets, inside the rolled "tube" on the top of the sides, and under the "tube" where it joins the wall itself. I am stumped about how to take of these issues and am thinkng about electrolysis using a plastic rain gutter.
Has anyone out there used electroysis to handle the rust in these areas? If so, how did it go?

Or get some smaller wire brushes and fashion some extensions for them and do it by hand. I've done a lot of improvising on stuff like this.
Clean it as best you can, then pour some rust stabilizer/neutralizer down in there and call it good.
Of course, the electrolysis would be better, but it would take a little time to rig it up, and I'm sure it would be fine. | | |
