Anyone using an original overflow tank on the radiator?

I’d like to know what the original paint color is or if it just matched the fire wall. Maybe the correct location too.

Thx Don

Thanks Tim.
I picked one up at Classic Parts. Kind of puke green color. I’m going to paint it black.

I have an original overflow tank on my 39. It was painted the same color as the engine, gray.

Well I thought about gray too. I painted it to match my air cleaner. Looked through about a thousand pictures. Found maybe 4 tanks. None were gray. But I did find out the correct decal for my year.
