My issue- I never was able to see the original radiator support bolted in and it's long gone. I have both a junk yard 2 center bolt style support and new reproduced split style bolt support. Both seem to line up to the crossframe holes if I used them. Which support should a 1950 3100 use and was there a 3rd style that I don't have that would fit like a glove? Regardless, both supports seem just a bit tall as far as lining up to the side bolts and top of the fender bullnose mount area. If I do use the center 2 bolts support would I need to drill all the way through the mount (see pic) or perhaps the bolts go through it straight down and 2 little nuts attach inside the little space in mount bracket? Again either support seems a bit tall and adding the typical shims/support pads and such would make it even more off. Thanks
That junkyard support should be correct for your '50 3100. The reproduction one should work as well. These front clips do not fall right into place even if you take apart a perfect one and then turn right around and put it back together. It really gets tricky when you are dealing with expensive painted sheet metal.

DADS50, Looks like your 50 is using the 2 split mounts style which all the vendors sell for a 50. I'm wondering if mine should be the same. Comes close to fitting with the 1 center mount style too. I feel like I hear some have used the center one too. Per your diagram hopefully all the shims is only the setup for a big truck, mine would be way too tall over the fender mounting holes if I used those.
