Hello,
I have two questions, if I tighten the srews of bracket that hold the camshaft to the cylinder block, than I can't turn the camshaft.

What do I wrong?
And one another question, what do I fix with this srew?

The block number is GM 3835911

Wolfgang, I cant tell from your description whether the cam wont move at all or it gets stopped by the screws. I also can't tell from your photo but are those bolts you are using to hold the cam thrust plate to the block instead of screws? It should be held in place with a pair of pan head phillips screws and internal star washers. Also, you are using the thrust plate and the spacer ring correct? So if you are using bolts and the cam gear is catching the bolts, switch over to the pan head screws. If you are using the correct screws, and the thrust plate and spacer, I wonder if you installed the rear cam plug in too deeply and when you are tightening the thrust plate, it is causing the rear cam journal to compress against the rear cam plug?

Do you have the plug at the rear of the cam in? That plug is very shallow because the camshaft comes close to it.Some vendors sell a plug that is much too deep. If one of those was installed, the camshaft would bind on it.

I have installed that plug a few times lately. The early plug is actually 1 31/32" in diameter and the depth is around 3/16".
