For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 88 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 88 | After having no luck with getting my vacuum wipers to work I broke down and bought the electric wiper conversion from LMC truck. It seems to work ok but I cannot figure out what the included bracket is for. I see no place it could possibly go on my 54 3100 and the directions never mention it. Can anyone tell me or possibly send a picture of where it should go? Is your part number: 36-4059 or 36-4066 (6v or 12v 54/55st)?
Note: LMC's 54/55 electric wiper units do not fit properly if you have an original style/size radio/speaker. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 135 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 135 | Stabilizer bracket, Goes on the bottom of the wiper motor mount to keep it from moving when the wipers are on. You will have to drill a hole for it to mount to the truck. I don't have a picture.
