I am bringing my infernal racket-making guitar for all y'all's entertainment enjoyment. Could use some accompaniment if anyone cares to bring whatever they have what makes noise.

John plays the banjo, I think! Leo can sing, I think! Billy can howl at the full moon, which will be Sunday night. Sweet can purr, like a smooth running engine. The Griggs know sailer songs. And I can scream some good cuss words, as I am forced to swim across the lagoon for posting this. All in harmony.
Seriously, bring it! We will have a good time.
Don

I have trouble playing the radio- - - -but "Hotrod Lincoln" is my favorite karaoke tune after a drink or three!

Let's all be glad Carl is bringing his guitar and not mushrooms!
Jerry I have always liked that tune. But, have never heard the original sang.
Thanks Don
Edit: Morel mushrooms should be popping up next week, at least in mid Mo. They may up late this year.

Here you go for when they are popping. Rule of thumb is, when you see the box turtles crossing the road, they are looking for Morels. https://www.thegreatmorel.com/morel-sightings/ Bring some and I'll cook them.

I am trying to get my old USMC band buddy to join us for the weekend and bring down his bass fiddle (I used to play one of those a very long time ago in a small bluegrass/traditional trio).
Don is technically correct (I do own a 5-string banjo) but I'm not sure I can claim the title of actually being a "player" anymore.
If you want to go Celtic/New England Maritime, I can break out the pennywhistle. After dark, and in the right atmospheric conditions, the sound carries over the pond in a way that's really amazingly cool.
If your gitbox is electric, we could try some celtic punk (know any Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly tunes??). No worries if your not... I am probably one of the very few Stovebolters who even knows either of those two bands, let alone regularly listens to their music full blast ... .

2009, the first Reunion I attended. Saturday night sitting around at the hotel pool. John and Cletis did some picking. That's when I knew, I liked hanging around this group of positive people.
I think that was also when the Killer Whales were circling us. Jeff kept us protected. But you had to to be there, to know what I am talking about.
