I got hold of a 3:55 ring and pinion gear set for an AD series pickup off of eBay only to find out the shim set had not been included. Does anyone know where I can get a sim set?

Used shim would be acceptable.

Thanks
Walt Williams

Hello, WAlt,

This belongs in the Swap Meet?

There was no 3.54 R&P for A-D light trucks.
Most likely, post that you want the shims/sims for the 3.55 R&P for the original torque-tube.

These folks have shims in many diameter combinations and thicknesses.

You might need to know the diameters your looking for.

Could you accurately measure the ID, OD, and assorted thicknesses?
With that info the next person might find a set from Raytech.

Otherwise offers to buy/sell should be done initially by PM or in the swap meet.

Thanks,
Grigg

Thanks for the lead to Ratech. I have emailed them with measurements of the shims that came in the differential.
