Anyone use this place for parts? Better quality parts? Or same as the rest of the places? Looks like they may have a little more parts than some do, got them in my parts ordering book just in case.

There is mention of them as far back as 2005 here on the Bolt. No real reviews of their service or quality of parts. Wonder if truck parts are also available at their North Carolina location (the car shop) or if it is strictly cars. Maybe one of our NC Bolters could check for us. 🛠

They started in CA - I found a reference as early as 1998 (on the H.A.M.B.)

I bought an electric wiper from them around that time. It did not fit a 1954 truck with original radio/speaker (no one sells one that works, but they said their's would work). They took it back (but, I had to pay shipping one-way - ugh).

I bought from them a few other times. Good prices and service.

They are a vendor at the All Truck Nationals at Carlisle, PA in early August and I buy from them there so I can save on shipping. I also like to touch and feel what I'm buying. The only down side is they won't allow you to pre buy and pick up at the swap meet. Some vendors show up at swap meets and only hand out business cards, they actually bring a 18 wheeler full of parts!

As far as parts go, almost all of the vendors get their stuff from the same sources, there just isn't enough demand to have multiple sources.

I buy from them on a regular basis, never had any problem with them and their prices are good. I usually buy the larger items at Carlisle and they have free shipping on orders over 350.00. They do have truck parts at the North Carolina location that's where I order from.

Daughter picked up several things for me last week in N.C. at their Concord store. Car and truck parts. I always call before we go to be sure they have stuff in stock. So far, so good.

I am close driving distance from the Concord store. Everything I have needed so far they had in stock. The guy told me that they are working on stocking all the sheetmetal they can, trying to help us out on
shipping costs. Super nice and knowledgeable guy. They also have stock on car parts. I have been getting a lot of parts there for a 72 Monte Carlo that I am trying to finish.

Always good service, counter staff are knowledgeable and helpful, plenty to look at on display before bellying up to the counter (in Orange, CA and not that far from me so have never ordered anything from them). Prices in line with everyone else and quality seems the same. Also sell vintage Ford parts for the misguided...

I'm not close to any of the parts suppliers, so I have to order everything. If they're using the same parts as everyone else, I will just watch the prices and order from who ever is best.

I have used them several times. It's not a long drive for me. If you order online, and live closer to NC than CA, they will transfer your order to NC. I ordered spring bushings and pins once and the NC store was out of stock. They sent the parts, as a "stock order" to the NC store so I didn't have to pay freight charges. Good parts, good people. I recommend them.

The number direct to the Car Shop in N.C. or surrounding area is 1-704-979 6490
I have my daughter pick up the parts for me............but picking them up you do pay the N.C. tax which is no biggie compared to shipping cost these days.
