I got the kit that uses the factory ball joints, 7/16” wheel studs, and standard height spindle. I bought my kit through Summit and shipping was free. The caliper will barely clear my 15” aluminum slots but I can’t use any stick-on wheel balancing weights inside the wheel.
I have read over and over again that NONE of the front disc brake kits will allow you to use the factory 1960-66 wheels. However, a set of 1967-72 six lug K10 wheels WILL FIT. I’m pretty sure the 15” Vintiques wheels will also fit over the calipers. A friend of mine says he got the factory wheels to fit by using a wheel spacer.
