When I bought the truck 20 years ago I had the bumper re-chromed locally, but it was not done well. Over the years large sheets of the plating have come off.
Would it be better to try again? If so, who does a good job? Or should I look for an NOS bumper. The "good old days" were done in by the EPA. Advanced Plating in Nashville does very good work and is used by many quality street rodders. There should be a good shop in Louisville, just check their references with guys you know and trust. Just be ready to bite the bullet or should I say bumper.

They were cheaper, and mainly recommended by
