Does anyone sell a side motor mount kit to adapt the 292 to the 49 frame or is it a custom build? Otherwise will the 292 fit? I haven't measured it yet but I'm guessing I could bolt the side mounts from the '68 to my 49 frame. I'm going to use the 68 transmission and 2speed rearend also. They'd fabricated some perches by welding 1/4" plates on the frame to hold the 292 mounts. Haven't been able to tell if any other changes made.
