First drill a hole throught the center of the bracket that wraps around the Steering Column

Then mount the turn Signal Switch to the Steering Column

I used a center punch and then Drill a small pilot hole through the center of the wrap through the Steering Column

Use a sheet metal screw that taps it's own threads and screw it through the pilot hole and tighten it up

I chose to locate the Turning Signal Switch a bit up from level so I could see the light on the switch through the spokes of my steering wheel ..

thx to Carl52 for giving me the measurement I needed so not to use too long of a screw,, so not to interfere with the inside shaft that the sterring wheel is attached to

Why not just use the clamp and skip drilling the steering column?

Because the clamp would not hold it tight from turning ..didnt want to take the chance of breaking the part of the signal switch abs plastic by over tightening .. also the room one has between the seat and the switch makes it for a knee knocker .
