Peace of mind. Use an air impact wrench to get the old plate off. If you don’t have one you can get a loaner from Autozone or O’Riley’s.ðŸ›

Lock a large screwdriver/pry bar in the starter teeth on the flywheel to prevent it from turning while loosening each bolt.

Loosen all the bolts a turn or two each, and then loosen them all a little at a time to prevent warping the pressure plate cover. Be careful- - - -the disc can drop suddenly or the pressure plate itself is heavy enough to mash fingers, etc., once all the bolts are removed. One sneaky trick is to insert a clutch plate alignment tool through the plate and into the pilot bushing while removing the bolts. Jerry
