I have a small Fab shop and plan to transform this truck into a flatbed with a Knuckle crane.
Originally an oil truck, this 56 455 is heading for the paint shop. We're deep into the refinishing. The steps and inner cab steps have been replaced, and now the fenders need some help. Is there a source out there for used fenders, they are only about 8" deep.
Thanks

please make all sales etc through private messages. I will leave this thread open in case someone else has a lead on a wrecking yard or some other possible source for used body parts.

I deleted my post. I was not able to send the guy a PM. I guess he is too new to the site. I really don't want to go to the trouble of removing the fenders and shipping would be expensive. I was merely wondering if that was what he was looking for. His post is rather vague and I am making the assumption he has a 450 GMC. A 56 Chevrolet LCF used a conventional type hood with conventional type fenders. GMC used a totally different setup. Maybe allMetals can post a picture of what he has.

He has 6 posts so is eligible for PM’s unless he opted out when he signed up. Try again. BTW he hasn’t been back since posting Wednesday.
