Getting ready to paint my 1950 3100. Can anyone tell me where the interior color stops and exterior color starts on the cab where the bottom of the door closes against the cab?

The exterior color ends at the edge of the exterior sheet metal,

If this is not clear, slide your hand over the exterior sheet metal until it reaches a window opening, or a door opening, etc.

The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.

I found a body line at the bottom of the opening. Right where the exterior side metal ends.

Here are a couple of pics of a very original '49 GMC.
Notice that the parting line between colors is not exactly where the outer sheet metal stops and the interior metal begins.
I have seen this very same thing on an absolutely original '56.
(Man,I'm lovin' the new pic feature! I predict that it will revolutionize the learning curve on this site.)
