I am installing the new (rebuilt) Rochester B carb on my 1960 235, and I am confused.
I need to connect a) the fuel line from the fuel pump and b) the vacuum line from the distributor.
I have a line from the PCV valve (where the road tube used to live) to the intake manifold.
There are two holes in the carb, one facing forward near the top and one facing the valves near the bottom, next to what I think is the idle adjustment screw.
So, what line goes where? I have no diagrams, directions, instructions with the carb. I feel like I should know what goes where, but...

I am currently digging back in to a 1953 3800 (one ton) with a nine foot bed. I've owned it since 1979, and drove it until 1982 (or so). My wife got me involved in restoring it back in 2002, got the body removed and the frame redone, then things came up. Now I am retired and starting again. Hy bluesman, the fuel line connects to the hole which faces forward, the vacuum connection to the distributor goes to the lower hole which is facing towards the valves, hope that helps.
