Apparently, Jim Carter Truck parts and Classic Parts of America have discontinued the reproduction cable and knob due to a problem of keeping the chrome on the knob. The Filling Station has this cable and knob. Has anyone purchased this cable and knob for a 1947-1952? Any other thoughts about where to find a quality reproduction cable and knob? Is yours for sale or in use on the '52? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 250 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 250 | Do you know the length of the cable? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 1,519 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 1,519 | | | | | | Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 793 Former BMW Rider | | Former BMW Rider Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 793 | Do you know the length of the cable? The heater isn't in the truck yet. I believe the L-shaped bracket resides just to the left of the steering column under the dash? So I don't know the exact length of the cable. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2016 Posts: 916 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2016 Posts: 916 | On my '51 it was to the left of the column Heater control cable
