Had to drive home with it blaring. I took the horn off and checked the connections in the steering wheel. Everything looked correct. The contact spring was working properly and connections are clean. The only way for it to stop is to disconnect the horn. Could I have a problem with the relay switch? Not sure how to proceed. I'm work with a 64 k10. Thanks John

Is the horn still honking? If so, then it's the relay. If not, then you'll need to trace the problem from there to your horn button.
