I'm really not being lazy.... I am genuinely trying not to make a costly mistake. Perhaps I could just word it as "What would you do?"

I have a stock 6 lug drum brake setup on a 1950 3100...... what wheel size should I order to accommodate modern tire reproduction white walls?

I put trailer wheels on mine. I just measured how deep they could be and not rub anything and made sure the bolt pattern matched. I don't know what the measurements are but I bet someone else will chime in with the info.

Others available in alum and 15" if needed. Most if not all will not accept stock wheel covers.

Only problem with those is that I wanna put hubcaps on and there are no clips.......

I like the price though.

I've seen hubcaps installed with three small machine screws- - - - -they're almost invisible if you use stainless steel. Just drill and tap three equally-spaced holes in the wheel center.

I really like these wheels that have the clips on them but I don't know which size to order.

^^^^^^^. 16" gives more choices in tires.

6" width is good choice.
6 lug in your case.

There is a website called Hubcap Mike that has 11-5/8 baby moons for trailer wheels that are said to clear large rear hubs on 3/4 and 1 tons. I ordered mine a couple days ago and waiting for them to come.
