Just out of curiousity, today, I took some Chrome Brush Paint, and painted the trim pieces around the headlights, and the parts of the grille where Chrome might be used. I kind of like that.
I had already painted the outside mirror frames Blck, so, I painted them with the Chrome paint as well. I'll put them back on tomorrow and make a decision.
I think a little Chrome is okay.

Only thing to add is windshield trim both front and rear .
Being a short-bed fleetside and BLACK it makes for a very sricking look !
I've owened the trk for about 12 yrs. and for the last 7 yrs. as only been cranked and moved every two weeks so my wife could mow the grass.
I've put my 58 Lincoln on hold for now and started to re-do everything I can on the 65 before the cold weathear gets here. My shop is not yet big enough for both yet.
the 58 Lincoln 2-dr coupe is also Black.
CHROME is COOL.
