Does anybody know if the guards were available from the factory, or were they aftermarket??

Thanks

not "factory" nor aftermarket, but an accessory starting in '56, available from dealers

Bill,

Who created your accessory list and what sources were used?

geez Mike, at my age it's lucky I recall I have the list grin
what I find on my 'puter is dated over 10 years ago - it might have come from the original Golden State PU Parts catalog way back or maybe Gunnells book - I believe I scanned it, but there are lists in some/most resto-pak PDFs in a different format
