But want to still use the foot starter and the ingnition key as it is. Anyone who has a good solution for that ?

There was a tech tip, or maybe just a thread on the subject some time ago. A heavy-duty starter switch from a farm tractor was used, with an extension bolt and the original pedal cap to make the conversion. Pretty tricky! There's no way to adapt a real stomp starter to a V8. Jerry

One update - using the original pedal mounting stud made the pedal so high that it was easy to get too much sideways force. Cut the end off and rethreaded so the pedai is an inch above the cap.

If you can find an original accordion-shaped rubber dust boot to cover it up, it looks almost original. Jerry
