Do anyone know of a source for a 1959 Chevy Stepside Shortbed? I have looked but haven't found anything that old. I would prefer Stainless Steel, but a heavy plastic would be OK too.

They look nice in your Webshots gallery. I found LMC Truck has a set for a stepside 1973-1987 Part #37-7120. Not specified as Long and Short bed, so I would guess you would cut them down for short bed? The price does not seem bad for Stainless either. He's a retired sheet metal worker, he also made the tailgate cap.
I'm going to take a guess and say that the caps from LMC are most likely for a short box, parts for the long stepsides are somewhat hard to find, especially for the '54-mid'57 that had the 7 1/2 foot bed.
