No manual specifies if I should or not, Husk brake cylinders are use.

That's the way he taught me, put a little white lube on the brake shoe contact points. Something like "Sil-Glyde" is an excellent product to lubricate everything inside your disc or drum system. Available at your FLAPS. I think it holds itself a little better than old white grease, especially when things get hot? It is not petroleum based, so it will not attack rubber parts. Just my .02
