rewire of 46 1/2 ton. high beam indicator light stays on low or high beam. tried new dimmer switch, no help. any ideas anyone????

What contact do you have it wired to? It should connect to the high beam terminal on your dimmer switch. If you accidentally connected it to the feed line that feeds power to the dimmer from the light switch it'll do what you describe. It should connect to which ever of the side lugs you have going to your high beams, shown in the image below. Do not connect it to the center lug.

Thanks for the reply. Found that was wired right. Found the useless wiring paper that came with this harness had the grounds wired backwards. Amazes me with what they charge for these harnesses they could have someone draw out a diagram that shows what goes where, instead of just numbering them. This harness came from Jim carter. Usually good products. Oh well, thanks again.
