Thought I would share some info. My '50 has 4 coats of paint on it, and sanding it down to metal was a PITA, so I have been using CitrusStrip, from Home DePot, and it has been working great, most of the time it will take off all 4 layers of paint. Took about 2 hrs to one bedside, and stake pockets. It friendly to work with, and it's biodegradeable. About 12bucks a quart, looks like the bed will only use one quart.

Sounds like it is worth a try. My truck also has 4 coats of paint in most places.

Don't forget that once this "biodegradable" product is mixed with old lead based paint from your Bolt that it is no longer "eco-friendly". eek

That is true, didn't think about that. Try to use a product which is a litter friendlier than some, especially for my health, and others. It does work good.
