I'm changing the front wheel cylinders this afternoon. Is there anything special I need to know regarding the front brake drum removal or is it pretty straight forward? I've done plenty of WILLYS Jeeps, but I haven't messed with the big bolts before brake wise. | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,061 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,061 | Hy Lend-Lease 1.5, welcome back. Other than making sure you back the brake adjustment all the way off the brakes are similar to the Willy's just larger, good luck. | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 210 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 210 | Job done! Once I removed the Hub cover plate and saw the castle nut and wheel bearing behind it I knew what to do. Drums came off easy after I loosened the old cylinders. Replaced both and bleed in 1.5 hrs. Thanks | | |
